Dog Portrait Bespoke Framing Service
We are able to offer our clients a full dog portrait framing service, which is great if you would like us to arrange everything for you. Our framer has access to a wide array of mouldings to suit most styles and home decors.
We have collected together a small selection of framed dog portraits and if you would like to view more examples please visit our framing section on our main pet portraits website. Our most popular dog portrait frame is our Wide Honey Frame (middle right and bottom left) which seems to suit dog pastels and dog pencil drawings beautifully.
Oil portraits need to be framed using a deeper rebate to cover the stretched canvas so we have a different selection of frames for clients to choose from for the oil portraits. If you are ordering a dog portrait on canvas you can hang it unframed for a more contemporary feel. You can see one of our deeper rebate frames at the bottom of this page, below right.
We also offer two overall sizes in our frames for pastel dog portraits and pencil dog portraits. The standard and the deluxe. If you order for example a 16 x 12 dog portrait you can either have a standard size mount and frame or you can opt for a wider mount and frame giving a larger overall size to the artwork. Often clients like to have the portrait as a centre piece in a room and so opt for a larger mount and frame.
