If you are looking for a traditionally hand painted portrait in oils or a hand drawn graphite pencil drawing, you will find a price guide below. Our sizes are bespoke so if you have a particular place in mind to display the artwork we are happy to work with your requirements. Prices shown are base prices. If you send us your photos and ideas, we can tailor make a quote for you. Pricing may vary according to design, including complexity of background if required and/or additional pets etc.
Canvas and paper sizes from 8" x 7" to 12" x 10" can fit single head studies comfortably. 14" x 10" and 16" x 12" sizes are ideal for single, double and full body portraits with a simple background. Anything sized 18" x 14" above can fit single, multiple portraits head study or full body with full backgrounds.
Montage drawings include a single central study and four studies around it, further studies are £25 each

Many of our clients like to make a deposit to secure a place in our booking list. We have fairly long lists so saving your space can be essential, particularly if you have a specific date in mind to receive the portrait by. In general we ask for a £200 deposit for a pencil drawing or £500 deposit for an oil painting. If you would like to email us your photos and an idea of the kind of size and medium you would like, we can create you a mockup and discuss your ideas. We then email you a safe and secure link to make a deposits using our payment system Worldpay as our payment provider. We accept all major debit and credit cards including American Express. If you are purchasing your dog portrait as a gift, we can provide our gift voucher promotional material via email. Our voucher packs are personalised so are made bespoke for each client. We will also arrange the wording of the voucher and whether you would like the value displayed or prefer it without. Gift vouchers can account for part of the portrait value with the recipient contributing to the remainder, or the voucher can cover the total portrait price. We work from one main photo for the pose of your dog portrait and use others for detail and colouring. Photographs are a very important part in the portraits process and it is essential that we work with the best quality photos you can provide. If you would like us to create the whole package for you from initial concept, the creation of the portrait, right through to framing we can do so. We work with two of the best framers in the UK who provide us with a luxury framing service. We commission them to make high quality bespoke frames from large swept frames for our oil paintings to smaller traditional frames for the pencil drawings. We cant stress enough how important the framing process is for our portraits. It is imperative to purchase a high quality frame. An experienced framer can to make sure the portrait is protected and framed correctly. It is also important to choose the right style and colour frame for your portrait to show the painting or drawing at it's best. We have had many years of experience choosing frames for our portraits and along with the expert guidance from our framers, we can provide you with a superb framing service.
