We have a lovely Tibetan Terrier called Lily. She is 5 years old and is a big part of our family. She came to us at 8 weeks old and is with us 24 / 7. She has many toys in the cottage and studio and many beds and bean bags to sleep on too. She can be quite mischievous and I think the photos below will give you a good idea of what she is like.
She loves our chickens and although she does have sniff of them every now and again, they are so used to her, they ignore her most of the time. Lily gets on well with other dogs and we go to Obedience dog training once a week where we work towards different levels of certificates. We passed all of our Good Citizens Kennel Club tests - Bronze, Silver and Gold and you can see a photo of Lily with her certificate and rosette below for her silver test.
The photo of Lily below shows how much she needed to go to grooming as you cant see her eyes! She goes every 8 weeks to the same groomer she has been going since she was small. We have her in a mid clip, some people have a full coat which is a lot of work, others have them clipped really short, we like to see her with a mid length coat. I cant say she likes going, I don’t really know many dogs who enjoy a bath and a clip, but she certainly smells and looks wonderful at the end of the session!
The photo below shows her with all of her rosettes. She was really tired after doing to Gold test and when i tried to get her to model with the rosettes she decided she wanted to nap instead! So here she is after a hard days work!
This is a photo of Lily after getting wet and muddy in a big stream and waterfall in Cornwall....but she was on holiday after all!
She is always in the driving seat in the studio....
When she was small...chasing a plant pot.
Lily's favourite toy from when she was a puppy and she still loves it. We hope you have enjoyed viewing the photos of Lily. Let us know if you also have a Tibetan Terrier! We would love to see photos!!
